Genetics vs Lifestyle and why lifestyle is MORE important.

Recently I've had reason to think long and hard about genetics and the role it plays in disease. It would appear in talking with people that the general consensus is that if you have a gene for something that it is inevitable that you are going to have that problem at some point in your life. This is absurd and has been refuted by modern science but the message is just not getting through. The truth is that genetics is simply a predisposition, NOT a guarantee that you will develop that problem.
In this modern day and age it is extremely unfortunate that toxic metals and chemicals of all sorts have become the significant problem that they are today. Some of the more significant are mercury, lead, aluminium, copper and cadmium.
As simplistic as this may sound the cause of your problems come down to one of, or a combination of, these three stressors; physical, emotional or chemical.
Let's back up a little. In Bruce Lipton's sensational book The Biology of Belief he illustrated how it is the environment (stress) and not our genetics that are the cause of our problems unless you are one of the 5% who can legitimately claim genetic issues.
I can't tell you how excited I am to finally launch this blog and website as it has been a goal of mine for the last year. What it does is give me a way to share my knowledge and information directly with you and this is what I have been anxiously awaiting.
Right up front then, because this blog is all about you, I want to ensure that if there is anything you wish to learn about then just fire me off an email and let me know your questions.
