Nutritional Balancing Principles

Friday, 21 October 2011 10:37

Someone the other day asked me why they had health problems. It was such a vague question that it really wasn't possible to pinpoint their specific why, but the conversation has stuck in my head. It would appear that most people truly don't understand why their certain health condition occurs and this is worth exploring again.

It is really not all that difficult to explain. The problem is in implementing the action plan to fix the problem. Nutritional balancing addressing all of this.

Why We Need Nutritional Balancing

There are five reasons a person becomes unwell and needs a nutritional balancing program. They are the following

1. Excess of a nutrient (s)

2. Deficiency of a nutrient (s)

3. Imbalance of nutrients

4. Toxins

5. Genetics

Each of the above deserves pages of text and attention but it is important to point out that all of them or any combination of them is what has led to a person becoming unwell and needing a nutritional balancing program.

The Chemistry Shift

The reality is that the five reasons above are responsible for shifting your body chemistry from normal to abnormal over a period of time. If you address these causes it is usually possible to shift your chemistry back to normal.

A nutritional balancing program addresses all of these factors in a scientific way by measuring levels of minerals and then prescribing the corrective lifestyle, diet, supplements and appropriate detoxification procedures. We look to identify the cause and then get busy working on this, not just the symptom.

There are no short cuts when it comes to illness and there are no shortcuts when it comes to fixing the issue at hand with a nutritional balancing program. It takes a lot of time and patience along with good old fashioned persistence and motivation. Difficult yes, but worth it in the long run. Nutritional Balancing is perhaps not for everyone but if you are truly motivated to heal at the deepest levels and can commit the time and effort required it will be well worth the time and energy.
